The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens is a museum complex that features regularly scheduled exhibits and a multitude of events. It is composed of a historic home filled with antiques and artifacts, formal English gardens, a Coca-Cola Museum, a Bible Museum, and Museum Store. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge offers easily accessible opportunities for visitors to spend time in nature birdwatching, taking photos, paddling, hunting, fishing, hiking, and so much more. Conveniently located off Highway 165 in North Monroe, the refuge provides easily accessible opportunities for local residents and visitors including A Nature Trail boardwalk winds through bottomlands surrounding the lake and the Wildlife Pier extends into the lake itself.

Bry Art Gallery is located on ULM campus in Bry Hall. They have an array of shows that highlight the work of students, faculty, and local artist. Free to the public, Bry Art Gallery offers an opportunity to connect with and view art created right here in our community. 

The Chennault Aviation & Military Museum honors veterans and soldiers from WWI through Iraqi Freedom. Through expansive collections including over 11,000 artifacts and compelling stories of the men and women who have served our country, the visitor receives a captivating insight into why we honor our history and our heroes. Learn the inspiring story of General Claire Chennault, how Delta Airlines was created, and view the massive military aircraft onsite! Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

The Masur Museum of Art is the largest contemporary art museum in Northeast Louisiana. Unique in its setting and renowned for its permanent collection and exhibitions, The Masur Museum provides a distinctly local art experience, emphasizing artists from Louisiana and the greater Southeast alongside artists of national and international importance. Admission is always free but donations are appreciated.

With one-of-a-kind exhibits for all ages, they've got something for everyone. This is a fun and educational Museum with interactive exhibits for kids of all ages! Stop by and enjoy the Kid's Cafe, Discovery Hospital, The White House, Baby Bayou, and so much more!

Founded in 1994, the Northeast Louisiana Delta African Heritage Museum museum features seminars, events, and research materials on the 1960s civil rights movement in Northeast Louisiana, plus works of art by Don Cincone, Bernard Menyweather, and Agnes Hicks. This small museum aims to preserve, promote, and provide educational programs to enhance cultural awareness of African American heritage in the area. The museum has a particular focus on art and promoting local artists.

Located in Hanna Hall on the University Campus, The University Of Louisiana Monroe Natural History Museum features collections representing the natural history of North Louisiana of fish, plants, and geological specimens including Native American artifacts.

The Precious Legacy Museum and Archives is located at Temple B'nai Israel in Monroe, Louisiana. The Museum features contributions of the Jewish communities of Northeast Louisiana and gives an overview of Jewish history, traditions, and holidays. Tours are avalible and can bee schedualed by phone. 

The Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo features over 2 miles of animal exhibits and 400 birds. It also features a Zooasis Splash Pad, playground, Safari Boat ride, and Train ride. These, along with the petting zoo and interactive animal exhibits, will surely bring fun for the whole family!
